Hi, I've been in this trade since 1980!!
In that time I worked for 3 companies
Normand-Sweet, Automagic and Timpsons
before deciding to open my own shop in Cosham in 1994.
I have my old area manager to thank for that..
Since then I have become friends with many of my customers
I watched them go through Marriage, Divorce, Child Birth,
Love, Heartache, Illness & Bereavement.
I've served people on their way to Church, Interviews, New Homes,
Christenings, Parties, Holidays & funerals.
I've seen the joy and hope of new Labour
The grief at the loss of Lady Di
The shock of 911
The ups and downs of England playing football
People moving in to the area
and people moving out of the area.
I have nailed, pined, stitched, glued, screwed,
lost, found, bound and wound parts together...
but still there is one thing I don't understand
WHY
do you always ask me for directions?
